Mark Milroy and Anne Crowley are the featured artists for this lush summer show. Milroy's colorful portraits reminiscent of Alice Neel or Lucien Freud, are mindful yet humorous studies of his sitters. Commissions are available. His flowers and landscapes are spare yet telling, calling us to pay attention. Crowley's delightful paintings, both of rural Hudson Valley landscapes and NY cityscapes, are thick brushworks of color and form that foster contemplation.
