Artist Statement
In her work Jennifer uses a unique combination of colors and perspective to create original still lives, and landscapes. Through her use of shape, color, and depth of field, Jennifer's paintings refer both to the everyday banal and to a deeper artistic vision and emotion.
Jennifer grew up in New York City where she spent her childhood taking advantage of all the art the city has to offer. She studied art at the high school of Music and Art and received her BFA from Bennington College in Vermont.
Jennifer teaches and chairs the art department of an independent school in Manhattan. The artist lives with her husband and two daughters in New York City.
